I’m thrilled to announce that Once and Again is officially live! Once and Again kicks off my brand new Return to Briarwood series. It’s a sexy second-chance love story (with a double reversal-of-fortune twist!).

loved writing Caro and Jake. This couple has plenty of issues. Tons of baggage. Mountains of emotion. I’m usually pretty stoic while writing, but I have to admit that I cried while writing several scenes in this book (and even cried every time I had to edit them). I can promise you this: their HEA (that’s happy ever after in romance-lingo) is hard-fought, but oh-so-satisfying in the end.

If you’ve already ordered your copy of Once and Again, it should have been delivered to your readers/devices this morning!  If you haven’t ordered your copy yet, you can do so here:  AmazonBarnes and NobleGoogle PlayiTunes or Kobo (and begin enjoying immediately)!

I’ll be blogging from here to August 1st, so please join me at every stop, where I’ll be doing giveaways and contests. You can find the full schedule and follow along here.

And if you haven’t yet signed up for my newsletter, what are you waiting for? Newsletter subscribers got a free bonus scene to Once and Again! Don’t miss out on exclusive content and sign up now!

Now that things have settled down with the release of Slow Summer Burn, I’ve returned to Romance at Random with my regular monthly guest post. This month, I’m talking about the beginning of fall. There are pumpkins! And wild turkeys! Check it out!

So that’s the virtual, but there is a way to see me in person if you live in Northern California. Along with the lovely Jennifer Ryan, I’ll be hosting a “date night” talk about my writing and giving a reading from Long Simmering Spring at the Village House of Books Grand Opening Week Celebration! There will be books! There will be giveaways! In other words, this is one evening you don’t want to miss. The event is on October, 24, 2013 at 7pm in Los Gatos, California. Please check my appearances page for more details!

And popular opinion has spoken. I’ll be back next Monday for a time-sensitive giveaway. And you’ll just have to join me then to find out what that means!

Happy Halloween, everyone. From my safe, warm, dry home in NorCal, I feel a bit guilty to be writing about a fun holiday when so many of my friends and family are dealing with the utter destruction of Hurricane Sandy. My sister’s house has 2.5 feet of water in it, and my parents-in-law are dealing with a downed power line on their property, so all is not a bed of roses. To make matters worse, I can’t do anything from across the country except call (all of the airports are closed, and even if I were there, I don’t know what I could do to help, since the flooding is still pretty extensive).

I guess the only thing I can do is to get happy-ish about Halloween. We carved a jack-o-lantern, we have plenty of chocolate candy to give away, my kids are in adorable costumes, and it looks like it’s going to be a fine night for trick or treating.

And here’s something really scary: I am guest blogging at Guilty Pleasures today with a spooky excerpt from Deep Autumn Heat, which just happens to take place on Halloween night! Couldn’t have planned that one better if I’d tried. You can win a rare paper copy of the book just by leaving a comment. I’m also still running my Goodreads giveaway for Blaze of Winter, so please stop on by and register to win one of 5 paper copies I’m giving out. On the writing front, I’ve begun my edits for Long Simmering Spring – hooray! And to round out the Star Harbor fun, I found out that my official release date for Slow Summer Burn is August 12, 2013.

Happy Halloween, indeed.

And to all those folks cleaning up from Sandy: Be safe and hang in there! You are in my thoughts and prayers!

End of summer. Typically a time of reflection for me, a chance to take a deep breath and look ahead to what’s coming up on the horizon. But not this year! Not only are things already starting (so much for that last gasp of summer!), but there have been some huge changes. The big news is that my oldest little guy is heading off to kindergarten next week. Kindergarten! It’s really hard for me to process that. And my two little ones are moving up in their preschool classrooms–big changes for both of them. I’m in the thick of things right now, so I haven’t had time to really ruminate on what this all means, but I’m sure it’ll hit me in a month or so.

I’ve got loads of stuff popping up writing-wise, too! I’ve been hard at work on the third and fourth Star Harbor novels, Long Simmering Spring and Slow Summer Burn, writing, writing, and writing some more. Long Simmering Spring is done, and is currently with my (generous, very kind) beta readers. I’ve also started planning my next project (in secret mode, for the time being).

And the big news–Blaze of Winter will be released on September 10th. You can read an excerpt on Scribd here. I’m very excited about this book because the hero, Theo, is just awesome – intelligent, a bit quiet, and rugged. Plus: he wears glasses. Hot. Officially, my blog tour starts on August 31st, but I’ve prepared a tempting post about all the Grayson brothers – and sneak peeks into the heroes of Long Simmering Spring and Slow Summer Burn for Romance @ Random today.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, all! Are you wearing green?

I’m featured today on Romance at Random, talking with other Loveswept authors about our thoughts on spring! I looove springtime and have written about what the season means to me, as well as to the characters in Long Simmering Spring, my current WIP and the third book in the Star Harbor Series.

Please stop by to see what everyone has written. Some blurbs are downright hilarious, and others are just beautiful – a real slice of the season.

Change is afoot! Good change.

Over the next few months, I’m going to be doing quite a few blog posts, guest blogging, and wait for it – live chats! Yes! Tomorrow night (Tuesday, March 13 at 6pm Pacific / 9pm Eastern), I’m doing a live chat at Coffee Time Romance with my fellow Loveswept debut writers, Jessica Scott and Ruthie Knox. I’ve never done a live chat before, but I’m sure it’ll be a great experience, especially because it’s with two amazing women! Stop by and say hi (or just listen, if you like). I’d love to see you.

I’ll have a monthly spot at Romance @ Random, and as the launch date for DEEP AUTUMN HEAT approaches, I’ll be going on a full-fledged blog tour. Never been on one of those, either!

All of this is quite new and exciting and I’m pretty thrilled just to be a part of it.
